Technology Integration Lesson Planning
Complete the following exercise using sample lessons found on the links of the bulleted items on this page.
1. Choose a lesson idea that uses Adobe Flash, video development, 3-D modeling, virutal field trips with QuickTime movies, or some technology using video or image editing. You may choose one of the following integration lessons, modify it to suit your subject area, or design your own:
2. Evaluate the lesson -- Use the Evaluation Checklist for a Technology-Interated lesson to help you evaluate the lesson you choose.
3. Modify a lesson -- After you select one of the lesson ideas, and adapt its strategies to meet a need in your own content area. You may choose to use the same mulimedia software as in the orginial or a different one.
4. Add/Modify descriptors -- Design descriptors for your new lesson like those found within the sample lessons (ex: grade level, content and topic areas, technologies used, relative advantage, objectives, state or NETS standards).
5. Save and Print your modified lesson with all of its descriptors. Please make sure you name is on the lesson plan.
